We are Weapons 9 Muay Thai, New Jersey's preeminent school of Muay Thai. We welcome students of ALL levels, from the recreational athlete and weekend warrior to the seasoned professional fighter. No matter what your level of experience Weapons 9 has something to offer.

The techniques are simple, easy to grasp and very effective. You will come to understand why Muay Thai has become an integral part of the mixed martial artists’ fight repertoire. Importantly, as your level of fitness improves and your skills grow, so too will your self-confidence. You will soon realize the benefits of studying Muay Thai (or any of the martial arts) transcend fighting. Our hope is that ultimately the knowledge and confidence you gain will transfer to other areas of your life – hence, our slogan “Armed for Life.”

We offer group classes for men, women and children (6+ yrs) as well as opportunities for private and semi-private sessions. THE WARRIORS CUP IV SET FOR JUNE 14, 2008
Weapons 9 is pleased to present the next chapter of this great Muay Thai Warriors saga. Who are the region's rising Thaiboxing stars?  Find out Saturday, June 14, at 7:30PM at 121 Jersey Ave in New Brunswick, NJ. But come early. Doors open at 6:30pm ($25 admission) and we expect a packed house to view the action!

NJ TIGERS vs. OKLAHOMA DESTROYERS on JUNE 7
In the final match of the '07/ '08 World Combat League season NJ will face the hometown Oklahoma Destroyers at Tulsa's Expo Fair Pavilion. Both teams will be out for blood having come within a few points of contending for the league title. New Jersey's heavy hitters, including Weapons 9 instructor Derek Riddick (pictured below 4th from the left) will be out for vengeance in Tulsa in this their last contest of the season.

Weapons 9 Muay Thai congratulates Georges St. Pierre ("GSP") for regaining the UFC Welterweight Title on 4/19/08 at
UFC 83. GSP dominated Matt Serra from the opening bell, ultimately winning the welterweight title via submission in the 2nd round.

THE WARRIORS CUP III is billed as the springboard for up and coming talent, and on Saturday March 15th the event stood up to its reputation.  Fighters came from as north as Connecticut and as far south as Atlanta, GA to give the audience a highly inspirational night of combat. While not every participant took home the coveted WARRIORS CUP, each fighter proved there were no losers exiting the ring.  All displayed tremendous character and fighting spirit.

AJARN APHIRAUK TO VISIT WEAPONS 9

Weapons 9 Muay Thai is pleased to sponsor a training day with legendary Thai trainer Aphirauk Meungchaiyapun on Saturday, Feb 16. Known for his high energy and love of teaching, Ajarn will be making his second appearance at Weapons 9.  This seminar, running from 11AM -3PM, should prove to be a great day of learning or refining your technical skills.  All levels are welcome.

1/25/08 - New York City - Known for its beautiful atmosphere, New York's Capitale was center stage for yet another night of exciting kickboxing action. In 2008's first Combat at the Capitale, our own Nick Harrison went toe-to-toe with TSK's Jimmy Rivera.  Typical of TSK fighters, Rivera was aggressive from start to finish. And though Harrison arguably displayed the finer Muay Thai skills in all three rounds, the judges placed greater value on Rivera's higher productivity and awarded Rivera the unanimous decision.  Both fighters fought with much spirit and determination and deserve congratulations for their effort.

THE WARRIORS CUP II on 12/8/07.  Though only one fighter from each match took home the coveted Warriors Cup, there were certainly no losers in the ring, as each competitor displayed tremendous fighting spirit.
